Island Tunes is a booked showcase for Nantucket singers / songwriters to develop their skills, while putting on a fun and interesting show for our guests. Island Tunes is modeled after The Listening Room in Nashville, TN. Artists are provided with a stage to perform and refine their original songs, while providing insight about the inspiration for their works. Guests are able to enjoy the show (quietly!) as they eat dinner and have drinks. The show is hosted by the Faregrounds Restaurant on Fairgrounds Road. We play in the dining room on Tuesday (Tunesday) nights from 7:00 pm to approximately 9:30. Please know that the room fills up quickly! Island Tunes is all about helping our young artists to develop. We encourage our older performers to stick to original material but our younger members may play whatever inspires them.
